Across Canada, National Philanthropy Day is the day we celebrate each November to pay tribute and reflect on the contributions that philanthropy -- and philanthropists -- have made to our great city and our country.
 
It is a day that is intended to recognize the great contributions of philanthropy and those people active in the philanthropic community - those who "Change the world with a giving heart".
